That sucks, that sucks really hard. My condolences to your friend. :-( I recieved a PSU for someone's fix just today from UPS, no problems, but in the past I have recieved boxes with their share of dents and always opt for FedEx delivery when given the choice.

Yea, when it comes to shipping pc components and anything fragile, I always opt for FedEx or even USPS. I have had bad experiences in the past with UPS and Airborne/DHL.

From the looks of the cardboard box it appears that all you did was throw the computer into the box and maybe fill the empty space with some rolled up newspaper. A poor job of packing results in damaged equipment, your fault not UPS. Next time take it to someone who knows how to ship computers, like a shipping service you find in the yellow pages of your telephone book. If you value your computer don't slap a fragile sticker on the side on the box and hope it makes it because it will not.
