Summary:
This is the first and only armband for running I've used with my iPhone 3G and I was immediately disappointed. This isn't going to be a comprehensive review--I'm only writing this to warn others of an annoying aspect of this case. The backing of it is soft neoprene, which is fine. The front of the case is a normal plastic cover, also fine. However, around the outer front edge of the case is a rigid hard plastic-ish rubber-ish (more like rubbish) base. The rigidity of this outer portion, mixed with how tightly the phone fits inside the neoprene causes the volume buttons to be pressed, updowndownupdownupupup...constantly. You can (as I have) twist the phone to an awkward position within the case to be functional while running, but as soon as you move your arm upwards enough to look at the screen or push a button to skip songs, the volume buttons press again and now you're fidgeting with your dumb case when you want to just be running. Luckily, the volume usually goes all the way down instead of blaring to full blast, but still, this isn't something you should have to put up with in a running armband. Maybe this one thing won't bother you that much--honestly otherwise it's a great case. For me it just puts me in a frustrated mood...the exact opposite of what you'd hope for when you go running to relieve stress and be calmed.
Pros:
-Tight fit, no chance of phone coming out accidentally.
Cons:
-Case is so tight that volume buttons are constantly being pressed.
-Elastic strap really isn't very flexible at all. I keep it JUST BARELY tight enough to not slide down my arm because any tighter and it'd be pulling the phone against my arm to where the buttons are pressed again.
