SiSoft Sandra 2004

Our first test is Sandra's memory benchmark. The results are purely theoretical and may not accurately represent real-world performance.

Sandra's results show that the Corsair and Transcend memory perform at almost exactly the same level. Both show a more than 25% increase in performance when going from 400 MHz to 500 MHz. Remember that the CPU speed has also increased due to the 1:1 ratio.

Aida32

AIDA32 has a built in benchmark that tests the theoretical read/write bandwidth of system memory. Like Sandra, the results may vary from the memory's real-world performance.

Aida32's results depict about the same 25% performance increase from 400 MHz to 500 MHz.

The question out there now is: Which RAM are you currently running in your personal game machine???

neither of us have time to game... :(

But as of right now, if he was gaming, he would be using this memory :)

whatever cheapass Micron memory comes with a Dell

not that Micron is bad stuff, but its certainly no speed demon

--not gaming?!?!? gimme!!!

Right now I have 2x 512 MB of Corsair's PC3500. The PC4000 will be going in my next rig :-P
