Conclusion

I've got to say, when fully functional, these speakers are very nice. The sound quality from the satellites is very good and the subwoofer is pretty decent as well. The adjustment knob on both the sub and the control unit make tailoring the sound output easy and you should be able to find a setting that pleases you. The blinking lights are just plain cool and might make you start watching them instead of your monitor.

Unfortunately these speakers just don't seem to fare well in shipping. The subwoofer magnet is rather heavy and I don't think it is given enough support to cope with the stresses of being tossed around in the back of a truck.

The price for these speakers is about $90 which is significantly above most other 2.1 speaker sets. You can get a 5.1 Logitech Z-640 set for about $60 and the quality is better. But these speakers aren't sold to those looking for outstanding sound; they are marketed squarely at those looking for a speaker set that will stand out from the crowd. They won't do it with sound quality, but they will have everyone taking notice when the lights start a flashin'.

Pros

Unique looks
Sound great (when functioning)
"Techno Lighting' is awesome
Sound output in all directions
Two headphone jacks
Bass level adjustment on both sub and controller
Connectors for both PC and game console

Cons

Expensive
Apparently damage-prone during manufacturing/shipping

I got to give 'em credit for an innovative product. Although, not sure if the flashing lights would get annoying after a while or not!.
