Upon opening the power supply, a bit of black paint dust came off. This isn't an issue if you leave the PSU in tact, but if you do decide to open it up, don't do in on your mother's expensive Persian rug. Located inside are two rather large aluminum heat-sinks which make the majority of the interior inaccessible. The heat-sinks provide a good amount of surface area which allows for a greater transfer of heat from the PSU to the air and a slower moving fan which means less noise. The cables inside the power supply were tucked away neatly for less air turbulence.
