Studio Shots

All studio shots were taken with the DX7440 in P mode with Color Mode set to High and White Balance set to Tungsten, unless otherwise noted. In close-up shots, Macro was used. You may click on the thumbnails below to view the unaltered, full size images.

It is quite unfortunate that the DX7440 has no manual white balance. In a studio setting manual white balance is very helpful to get consistent color reproduction. The pen holder thing is a bit noisy, and there is some noticable vignetting in all the studio shots, but aside from that stuff, the shots came out really well.

:o I would just like to say with the features you have just listed, I still think my 7430 is much better, and with the memory card it can hold approximately 15 mins of video

If you are going to have comparisons to another camera, do it under the same lighting conditions. Tha Canon was shot during primarily blue sky shots, and many of the Kodak shots were during overcast.
