Hush was at Piero's to show off their latest home theater PC as well as a couple of existing products. Their latest system is the largest of the three (actually their largest PC yet) and can be outfitted with the latest processors, full size add-on cards and other hardware.
Zalman
Zalman's booth was quite interesting. There were two products being shown, plus one that won't officially be unveiled until CeBit that we were unfortunately only allowed to take a peek at. The main attraction was the TNN 500AF Fanless Systems computer case. Most of you are probably aware that Zalman created the 500A, a huge aluminum case that relied on heatpipes to transfer heat from the internal components to the case itself which acted like a giant heatsink. The TNN 500AF Fanless System is Zalman's final revision of the case that has worked out many of the kinks from the previous version. The 500AF should be available this January for around $1200 although this is not officially set. Zalman also includes a really awesome HTPC media center and remote with the TN500AF. We played around with it for a while and loved it. The features are great and the remote is very easy to use. The "secret' product Zalman had at their booth was hidden under a sheet and we were only allowed short glimpses and absolutely no pictures. All I can say is that it is a much smaller case that seems to use the same basic principals of the TNN 500AF. From what I was able to see, it seems to be much more of a looker and should weigh quite a bit less due to its much smaller size.
