Introduction

Today marks the beginning of the tenth annual QuakeCon LAN party. QuakeCon is being held in the Gaylord Resort Hotel and Convention Center in Dallas, Texas and covers over 200,000 square feet with over 12 miles of Cat-5, 3000+ monitors and 1,470 gallons of Bawls, keeping gamers plugged in and on their toes throughout the non-stop 76 hour event. The night before the event, gamers were already lined up waiting to get their computers into the BYOC (bring your own computer) area.

QuakeCon officially opened to the public at 8:00 am Thursday morning, and we were there along with hundreds of gamers when the doors opened. Fortunately for us, we didn't have to wait in the BYOC line and were able to enter the convention center before the crowd hit. The sponsor exhibits weren't scheduled to open until two hours later, so we took our time browsing through the isles, checking out some of the more interesting, and well! special! rigs. Since we were some of the first into the center, we were able to play around at NVIDIA's booth before it opened, and before they shoed us away. During this time we were able to play some interesting new games and take some videos without the interruption of the crowds - although there was some mic-checking going on, as you'll hear in the videos later on.

"We had to show pictures and movies of it because if WE had to see it, YOU have to see it. We wanted to show how disappointing the NVIDIA show was... I think we made our point."

You homophobes never cease to amaze me. What's the problem, you can't look at another guy with his shirt off? "More_like_gaycon" is the name of the video. Insecurity at its best! Lol you must also be the same people that showers with blinders and gloves so you don't have to look at or touch yourself. The dude won a $4000 PC... it's not like he was stripping for guys or anything! He was dancing for hot chicks! Get over yourselves!

Pardon me for my knee-jerk reaction. *blush* 'Scuse me while I go hide in the corner and look ashamed...
