Spotwave Wireless
A representative from Spotwave discussed their signal boost technology. Until recently, Spotwave has been providing cell phone and wireless broadband boosting capabilities to Enterprise level users. Now with the introduction of their Xen coverage system, home users can increase data speeds and clarity of conversations. This is especially helpful for those of you, like me, who live in cell coverage shadow zones. Plus, the rep gave us candy bars, so they can be trusted.
Innovative Toy Concepts
While roaming around the crowded floor, we were occasionally buzz-bombed by a shoebox-sized helicopter. The reps from Innovative Toy Concepts had the rough job of showing off their radio controlled mini helicopter, the Bladerunner II. The ~8" long flyer hovered gracefully through the air turning on a dime and landing softly. Even more amazing was the palm top sized Micro Mosquito. This impossibly small R/C helicopter did all the same stunts its big brother but at ½ the scale. We all want one.
EMA Innovation
There was this huge BDSM device with a busty blond strapped into it... Actually, upon closer investigation we realized it was a product from EMA Innovation called the Nethrone. These sort of devices are at the show every year and they never catch on. We just took a pictures for the view.

Dessert Tray
And finally, the most innovative award for presentation at CES: Unveiled goes to! whoever made these amazing chocolate mousse pyramids. If I hadn't gorged myself on all the other great appetizers, I would have eaten the whole tray. Poor Kurtis set his down and before he could get back to it, and the wait staff wisked it away into oblivion. Guess you'll have to wait until next year, Kurtis.

As for the Nethrone... I'd be scared that since I attached the monitor that it would fall and knock me in the head killing me instantly!

Man, that Nethrone looks sweet. Seriously. I'd want to get it more to a sitting-up-straight type orientation, but what's so cool about a desk? It's meant for writing in an accounting ledger under gaslight, not using a schweet laptop or desktop. And besides, it got kurtis a peek at boobies, and I'm all for that.
