Gems of the Showfloor
If you are a fan of exotic vehicles, this year's show might let you down. Last year we spied Ferraris, Porsches and Lamborghinis in abundance. This year we only found a bright yellow Ferrari 360 Modena, a new BMW M5, Mercedes AMG, Lotus Elise, Shelby Cobra and an Acura NSX. A few older classics were around including a rare Honda S600, Japan's answer to the original Mini. A chopped and loaded original VW Beetle and a mid-50s Chevy Bel-Air Wagon, we think, were also lurking about.

Amid the many import tuners stood the amazing Asimo! Honda was giving demonstrations of the Asimo every hour. Unfortunately we didn't get to see it do much but stand and wiggle his arms like robots do. There were stairs and ramps that Asimo was to traverse, but we didn't feel like waiting around. Ellen Degeneres was there doing some sort of video feed for... something. We didn't get to see her dance around either.

Several other import tuners and modified domestics were scattered around. Click here or navigate to the "Images' tab at the top of the article to browse through all the pictures. Even after we left the show floor, we had promo cars following us. While walking down the strip in search of lunch, four ViewSonic hotrods rolled by: A Corvette, Porsche Carrera, Ferrari 360 and Dodge Viper. Kurtis managed to snap a few pictures before they tore off down Las Vegas Boulevard.

Those LAT subwoofers are pretty nifty. I wonder what the market response will be like.
