Silverstone TJ07 Full-Tower Case
Conclusion
The TJ07's unique construction and elegant design are the focal points of this case. While it doesn't have any fancy toolless features (which usually end up being gimmicky rather than useful) there is ample room to work in, easy access, and thumbscrews aplenty. The removable motherboard tray and hard drive cages also lend a helping hand when it comes to hardware installation. The structural integrity of the case is supreme and aside from the problems surrounding the misaligned holes and jammed side panel, the TJ07 is dripping with quality. I was rather surprised that I had any issues at all with this case considering the $300 price tag, but after finding out about the precision machinery and extra labor required to get each TJ07 through production, I am a little more understanding. However, when spending this kind of money on a case, the problems I ran into are exactly the ones the consumer shouldn't have to deal with. Due to the fact that most people would have to sell a kidney to even consider purchasing this case, I find it hard to make a generalized recommendation. The case is extremely high quality and is no doubt one of the best on the market, but considering that most of us don't want to spend $300 on a graphics card, let alone a computer case, I don't see this case ending up in many households. If you have the money and are looking for the perfect chassis to house your top-of-the-line computer, the TJ07 should be at the top of your list. For the rest of us, we will just continue dreaming of a day where we could justify such an expense. Even though I did have some issues with this case, it is good to know that Silverstone is willing to work with TJ07 owners to fix and replace anything less than satisfactory. While a quality product says a lot about a company, so does customer service. If anyone who has a TJ07 has problems with it, please let us know what they are, if they were resolved and how. Even if you didn't have any of the problems I experienced, be sure to share your feelings on the TJ07 by adding a comment or by writing your own review. on January 20, 2008 - 7:45 pm i am trying to decide between buying the cooler master cm stacker 832 se OR the silverstone tj07 . if any tech heads out there have messed with both of these uber cases , then please advise as to which one you would spend your hard earned cash on . obviously the cm stacker 832 se is cheaper but the real issue with me is which one is slickest . feedback please . sirreal7@hotmail.com 7 - Posted by

on February 6, 2008 - 3:05 pm I've had the stacker for almost a year now and it's been absolutely awesome... ... that said, due to space restrictions (smaller bedroom etc) It's sitting behind my desk at the moment so no one gets to see it's pretty blue lights anymore :-( (ps even sitting behind the desk I've had no problems with it overheating or anything!)
