Introduction

When looking for a new video card there are many names that come to mind: ASUS, eVGA, Gigabyte, XFX and of course, BFG. BFG is currently the market leader in the US for NVIDIA-based video card sales and it's not hard to see why. Between the BFG branded cards and their 3D Fuzion line, they sell everything from the GeForce MX 4000 up to a factory overclocked 7900 GTX. They also offer free 24/7 tech support and a lifetime warranty to keep you taken care of.

Wouldn't it be nice to buy a BFG motherboard to go along with that BFG video card? But BFG doesn't make motherboards, do they? Why yes, they do! BFG sells a single motherboard model based on the NVIDIA nForce 4 Ultra series chipset. This single model thing is certainly odd for a company that lists so many different video card options on their product list, but hey, it's their first shot at this, so give "em a break.

The BFG nForce 4 Ultra motherboard even has an odd, yet strangely appropriate, name: nForce 4 Ultra. How's that for simplicity? No Neo, LanParty, Extreme or any other funny names; it's just the BFG nForce 4 Ultra motherboard. The feature set is simple too, without any added firewire controller, secondary NIC or digital optical audio outputs. Simple though it may be, this board is perfect for BFG to cut its teeth on and get a foot in the door of the motherboard market.
