The Card & Bundle
Chances are that you already recognize XFX's product packaging. When you see it in a retail store, it's hard to miss, it's the only package with two big wedges cut out of it, making the shape of an X.
The 7600 GT looks curiously similar in design to its beefier brother, the 7900 GT. While it is a little smaller and has some physical differences, at first glance they look about the same. The card uses a small, single-slot cooling solution, as you would expect from a mid-range part. The heatsink is copper and cools only the GPU - the GDDR3 is left to fend for itself, but that's okay since it runs relatively cool. The heatsink is topped off with a black plastic shell which is attractive in appearance and serves as a fan shroud, directing air through the copper fins.

The memory used on the 7600 GT is Samsung K4J52324QC-BC14, with a max frequency of 700MHz. Since the XXX Edition is already clocked at 800MHz, 100MHz beyond the "maximum", I wouldn't expect to be able to overclock the memory much further.
On the edge of the card you will notice that there is no 6-pin PCI-Express auxiliary power connector - this is something you should only expect to see on high-end cards. On the top edge of the card is the SLI connector. The outputs on the 7600 GT include a dual-link DVI (the one closest to the PCI-E connection), a single-link DVI, and a 7-pin HDTV-out.
Bundled with the 7600 GT XXX Edition is a multi-language installation manual, user's manual, promotional material, driver CD, two DVI to analog converters, an s-video cable, and a component dongle. At the time that I received the 7600 GT, it came bundled with Starship Troopers, but XFX is now bundling it with Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (a MUCH better game! unless you happen to like the Starship Troopers theme so much that it overshadows the horrible graphics and gameplay). For those of you who purchase the card in the next couple of weeks, you'll probably receive a soft copy of G.R.A.W. and have to go through a process similar to that of mail-in rebates. You'll send in a certificate to XFX, it will take about a week to process (according to an XFX rep), and then they will mail you the game. However, this next week they will be transitioning to hard copies of the game, so a couple weeks from now all new 7600 GTs should come with G.R.A.W. in the box.

We'd like to thank Directron.com for donating the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Socket 939 Motherboard which we used for testing.

The XFX 7600 GT XXX Edition is what I just put in a new PC and every game I try runs great with this card. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Call of Duty 2, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas all run excellently with it.
Mine didn't come with Ghost Recon but it's still a great value.

HI THERE, I JUST PURCHASED THE BEAUTIFULL GPU AND WORKS PRETY WELL.I OVERCLOCKED HER WITH THE BUNDLE SOFTWARE AT 634 Mhz (CLOCK) AND 815 Mhz (MEMORY) AND IT WORKS PREETY WELL (5 HOURS PLAYING ROME-TOTAL WAR), BUT DOESN'T GO ANY MORE. IF YOU HAVE ANY BETTER RESULTS PLEASE DROP ME A MAIL WITH HOW YOU DID IT. WITH THIS TUNNING I MANAGED TO ADD AN AVERAGE OF 1,5 FPS IN EACH GRAPHIC TEST OF 3DMARK06. ANY FURTHER INFO WOULD BE VALUABLE FOR ME. THATS ALL
