Introduction
Since our original review of the iPod nano we've also brought you reviews of two different iPod clock radios from JBL and iHome. Today we're going to look at a couple more iPod accessories, both of which are FM tuners/transmitters. We'll be reviewing these products side by side in order to give you a better comparison of the strengths and weaknesses of both.
The first competitor we have for you is the DLO nanoTune. If you're not familiar with DLO, the acronym stands for Digital Lifestyle Outfitters and much like iHome, they provide a wide variety of iPod accessories. The nanoTune is made specifically for the iPod nano, and not only acts as an FM tuner and transmitter, but also acts as a protective case, stand, and amp for the nano.
Our second competitor comes from Kensington. This product doesn't have a short name since Kensington just refers to it as the "Kensington Duo FM Radio & Transmitter," so we'll just be calling it "the Kensington" for the sake of this review. The Kensington doesn't offer all the same features as the nanoTune, but it does work with all iPods with dock connectors.
