Conclusion

With a myriad of iPod accessories on the market, why choose Speck Products? Hopefully you will have gained a good insight into one of the more creative (and certainly innovative) manufacturers in the industry of protective (and stylish) cases. Combining strong construction with unique design and implementation, Speck brings their powerful creativity to bear on an oversaturated market at price points that are easy to swallow.

It's difficult to give a solid conclusive recommendation from a selection of iPod nano cases, since everyone has their own style and purpose. But with that said, I found myself drawn to the innate functionality and ergonomics of the SkinTight and ToughSkin designs (though the ToughSkin fell victim to my daughter?s amazingly sharp teeth) and they ended up spending the most time on my nano. The SkinTight series of cases offer the most flexibility and have a simplistic style about them which I find is really nice. Depending on your lifestyle and listening habits, you may want to get the SkinTight Deluxe or SkinTight Armband + Skin version. Meanwhile, the ToughSkin is sort of your machismo iPod nano case. The 'rough edges' make the miniscule nano look like one bad little music playin' machine. I'm not about to test the protective capacity of these cases with my own nano, but I'm sure a drop would hurt the nano less when it's in the case than not.

I received a lot of positive feedback on the See-Thru cases, but for me personally they just weren't as cool as the SkinTight or ToughSkin for a number of reasons. With that said, it is sort of nice that you get an assortment of three colors when you buy the See-Thru cases (only available in a 3-pack). The design is simple and effective, and you'll be happy with the quality of them if they're your cup of tea.

Each of the other designs has innate strengths and weakness and hopefully I have guided you towards a perfect match with the case of your future.
