Samsung SyncMaster 225BW 22” Widescreen LCD
Conclusion
The Samsung SyncMaster 225BW 22" Widescreen LCD is a fine monitor. Well worth the $400 street price. The only problems I have with it are the narrow viewing angles and the fact that the display out of the box seemed washed out in terms of color; though calibrating the display fixed that problem. Although it doesn't have some of the extra features found on other models, the price point of $400 for a great 22" display is hard to argue with. If you're really hard up for cash, you can look at other 22" off brand displays you'll find their prices are about $50 cheaper than this model, but Samsung is a well known name in the industry and provides a 3 year warranty on this model. Other than the two small issues I mentioned, I'd strongly recommend the Samsung SyncMaster 225BW 22" Widescreen LCD to anyone looking at a 22" displays. Pros Screen size Price Excellent image quality Easy setup Cons No Portrait Mode Poor off angle color accuracy No extras like powered USB hub, etc
