Spotlight: Vantage Point Evo Wall Furniture

Alright, Vantage Technologies has their "Evo Wall Furniture" going on, it's actually pretty sharp, but the people here are most of the show. Check out the matching earrings and Bluetooth headset on the Vantage rep:

The Evo isn't just furniture, as it is also a cable management system with several accessories for A/V trays, wire conduits, speaker and flat-panel mounts, glass desktops and shelves and projector mounts. What makes it neat is how modular it all works. It's essentially a rack or frame that is concealed by wood panels, and they have a stack of finishes to go with your décor. Because the panels are wood, they can be easily modified for anything that you want flush with the surface. They really do have a sense for function, as corkboard and dry erase panels are other options. There's at least two and a half inches of space behind all the panels, and the rep said it's no problem to fit things like power strips along with your tangled mess of wires.

The modular thing also means you can expand on the frame itself, which is good, because a single three-panel kit is $725, for those of us buying our wall furniture in installments. The setup at the show ran two grand. Another plus is the simplicity of the installation, which just uses a few screws, and according to our man Mickey F, "Is simple enough for even the ladies."

And I mean it's not free, but if everyone pitches in and buys some of this stuff for themselves, maybe the price will drop so much that even us Loungers will be able to afford some. If it helps, we'll buy some fishbone rims and leather pants, promise.
