Sennheiser Headsets & Infrared TV Stethoset Receiver
The Sennheiser booth was jam packed with their latest and greatest in headphone technology. They also had some nice games of Counter Strike going which I had the luxury of partaking in. Safe to say the professional gaming circuit won't be waiting for me anytime soon.
The PC155 and PC165 Gaming headsets were both on display. Both of these headsets use a USB connection to the PC which can be switched to the standard 3.5mm plugs for non USB use. These are already available with an MSRP on the PC155 is $139.95 and the PC165 is 149.95. The new products are the PC25 and PC35 headsets. These are what I would consider the average user type of product. These feature a smaller ear phone, and are much smaller in general, as well as a lower price. The PC25 and PC35 MSRP comes in at $69.95 and $79.95 respectively.

Sennheiser was also showcasing their "Street Line" of headphones. These range from the standard earbuds we have all become accustomed to the clip-on headphones with exchangeable design covers. These are made primarily for the MP3 player crowd who is on the move. They may be hip, but I do not have confirmation of this yet. Apparently, though if you are REALLY active you have to go to a different lineup which has been denoted the "Sport Line". This lineup is denoted by its green underpinnings which are designed to resist sweat and water. This line comes with many different choices in headphone style, from the standard earbud to the neckband type of headphone.

On a different note, the BW 800 is a Bluetooth headset which uses the Bluetooth Class 1 instead of the shorter Bluetooth Class. The difference is in the distance. Class 1 will reach 300 feet while class 2 is limited to the shorter 33 feet. Since the device uses Bluetooth, you are able to use the BW800's with your PDA, your Cell phone, even your computer.
On display at the booth was also a Wireless Infrared TV Stethoset Receiver. Theses appear to be inverted headphones and are designed for use with a TV. They use infrared technology to transmit the sound up to 40 ft away to the user. They are designed to rest in front so as to be more comfortable for watching TV. Sennheiser also had on display their PXC 350 and PXC 450 Noise Cancelation Headphones. These aren't new but they did have some nice airplane seats setup in their booth. I am not talking new either, these seats looked like they had been well used, that is for sure.
