Introduction
As a testament to the newcomer Sansa series the aftermarket has conspired to develop many new products specific to the SanDisk players. I'm not at all surprised by this as the little Sansa players continue to surprise me with their simple, practical designs. Sansa-specific products like FM transmitters, in-car chargers and protective cases can now be found at most electronics retailers.
Portable external speakers have become a hot seller in the portable media player arena. Altec Lansing was at the forefront of the personal media player aftermarket and introduced several products for the iPod. Now they've seen it fit to customize a speaker set for the Sansa c200 and e200 lines. And rightly so. These little players are challenging the market share of the iPod Nano and Shuffle and deserve a little respect. Maybe glossy black will make a comeback just as pearly white has become an iconic symbol?
The iM510 is Altec Lansing's first accessory speaker set made for the SanDisk players, but probably not the last.
