Testing - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Oblivion is to-date the most intense, stressful video game ever intended to run on a home computer. Right now we're still playing around with it, and we may find ourselves "benchmarking" into the wee hours of the morning. In the future our test method may change, but for now we average three two-minute runs recorded with FRAPS of an outside dual with a highwayman at dusk, with default "low" and "high" detail settings and no anti-aliasing, which isn't quite a practical option yet, even with the higher-end video cards.
