Zune Canvas-Sport
First Looks
Remember that quirky comment I made earlier? The Canvas-Sport is the stylish one of the bunch. As you can see from the photos it is obviously styled after the iconic, simple, always in fashion and generally awesome Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star shoes.
From the white rubber edging to the black canvas with white stitching, the styling is all Chuck's. A white rubber tab on the back unsnaps to reveal a fold down panel. The panel also houses a belt clip, like the Executive model, and makes fitting the Zune into the case much easier. Cut outs for the hold button and input jacks can be found on the upper or lower rubber edging. The rubber edging is even textured similarly to the shoe with a black stripe running down the side. I have a pair that matches this case perfectly!

Testing
There is little pushing or shoving required when installing the Zune into the Canvas-Sport case. The flip down panel drops for easy access. This case isn't the most rugged of the 4 available designs, but it is certainly the most stylish. The larger front button cut outs allow easy access to the D-pad and center button and the menu and play button are accessible but just a bit annoying to reach, again because they are just slightly covered by the canvas material.
The hold button, however, is quite difficult to reach as the rubber edging is about 4mm thick and not wide enough to easily access the sliding switch with a finger. It can be done but it takes a couple tries with a pinky. The belt clip was more than adequate for keeping my test Zune immobilized on my waistband. And as with the other two cases, the clear plastic screen protector is a dandy feature.
The textured All-Star edging offers a bit of extra grip, but mainly just looks cool. Out of the four cases, this one feels the most natural in my hand. The leather Executive model is also quite svelte, but the flip down face cover is a little annoying if you are a constant song skipper.
