Conclusion

The Dell 2707WFP LCD monitor is very large. There are a few things you'll have to take into account if you're considering buying one! For example, do you have the space on your desk for this monster? The display is so large I found myself sometimes subdividing the display in half or in quarters just to manage everything that I had on the screen.

The single biggest obstacle may be the price! the 2707WFP is $1199 (before discounts). By comparison, a Dell 2407WFP, which sports the same resolution, only costs $699. So for a little more than half the price you get a monitor that is 20% smaller by area, but with the same resolution.

If you're really into larger displays, and you have the money to spend, it's a suitable monitor. The one imperfection around the edges that I mentioned in the testing section is about the only blemish on the otherwise great quality of the monitor. So the big question you must answer for yourself is! Are you willing to spend around $1199 to get a very big monitor, or can you sacrifice a little display area to save $600? Personally, I'd rather spend that money on two 2407WFP 24" LCDs. You can see my Dell 2407WFP review here.
