Conclusion
Gigabyte is just going through the motions with this unimpressive card. This way they can go back to AMD and say, "We made your card." Putting a pretty heatsink on it doesn't make it go faster. Adding aluminum isn't what holds in more FPS.
For a few hundred more pennies, you can get the XT, which also comes with Neverwinter Nights (you know, theoretically), two VGA adapters, and, er, no HDMI adapter. It's also passively-cooled and overclocked. Get it and be done with it.
It's not that the Pro is a terrible platform, it's just not good. And there are better options across the board.
Pros
Passive, silent cooling
Ultra durability
Near-perfect video acceleration
Insignificant power requirements-30 watts
Cons
Weak gaming performance
XTs are in the same price bracket
WTH, Gigabyte, where's the game?
