Conclusion
Finally, a game worth buying on the PS3. I wouldn't buy a PS3 just for MGS4, but if you own one already, this is one that you've just got to play. The game isn't perfect, but the imperfections are but smudges on a beautifully polished game.
MGS4 will keep you entertained for countless hours, even after you've beaten it. You can play like an Old Rambo or an Old Ninja - or combine the two and you've got Old Snake. I love this game, and I want it to have my babies.
Helpful hint: if you want to get the most enjoyment out of the game and don't have the patience to sit through every cutscene, skip the 'mission briefings' and the post-boss-lady-fight Drebin monologues. You will inevitably lose some of the details of the story, watching them probably won't help you understand what's going on anyways. Even as a big fan of the series, if I could go back, I would skip those specific cutscenes (but not the others).

If you've played MGS4, leave a comment and let us know what you thought... Did you find yourself running-and-gunning more than sneaking? What was the coolest way you killed any soldier(s)?
Pros
Very nice graphics
Great level design
Many hours of fun - high replayability
Nudie mags
Lockers
Dead baddies
What else do you need?
Cons
Excessive cutscenes makes it feel like a director's cut
Game doesn't encourage sneaking as much as it could
Writing could be better (and boss fights, as noted)
