Performance Notes Here, the basically goes toe-to-toe with the older 8800 GTX. For what it's worth, the 8800 GTX is a "super overclocked" version, but still, it's somewhat disappointing. The card slips noticeably playing Unreal Tournament, but at least it stomps a 3870--outside of Crysis, anyway. With these DX10 games, the 9800 does outshine the 4850.
