ATI

When we got to the ATI booth, we were hoping to catch a glimpse of their next generation graphics cards but it didn't happen. They just had a few motherboards that use ATI's new chipset and some video cards sitting in a display case. ATI was also showing off quite a few consumer electronics such as phones and PDAs that use ATI's chips. We heard that they were showing off the original Quake on one of these devices but sadly we were not able to catch a glimpse of it.

NVIDIA

Like the ATI booth, we didn't find ourselves swimming in (or even looking at) any next-gen video cards, but that's not to say we didn't see anything. Again, we found a lot of products that utilize the NVIDIA chipsets including video cards, motherboards, and some consumer electronics. Unfortunately some of the pictures didn't come out but we did manage to get shots of some video cards and a nice computer they had on display. At NVIDIA's Booth, there were about 6 or 8 barebone systems on display which utilized NVIDIA's chipsets and graphics solutions. Some of them were pretty nice, it's really a shame we didn't get good pictures!

Cool...I like the free phone thing...they were playing Quake on a PDA? That must have been one good chip! Bit disappointed that there were no next gen graphics cards. I loved the shuttle basketball thing! That was cool! When's part two out?

About Part 2, I will be working on it today and perhaps I will post it late tonight, but probably it will be posted Saturday (there will be 3-4 parts, I'm leaning towards 3)
