Introduction

TheTechLounge has been around for almost a year now, and as such we felt it was time to go to celebrate all our hard work by taking a trip to Las Vegas. Well, we actually planned the trip to check out what's going on at CES, but our journey wouldn't be complete without checking out the darker side of the city! That's right boys and girls, not only will we share our experience of the 2004 International CES (Consumer Electronics Show), we also took some pics of the "sin city' in action at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo! Our trip to AVN will be covered in its own article, so be sure to look for it soon!

As I said, the main reason for our trip was to check out what was going on at CES. To enter the convention we had to get our press badges, which was a lot more complicated than we had previously thought. Upon arrival at the convention, we asked for the location to pick up our badges. After getting the run-around three times (lots of walking... I mean a lot!), we finally picked up our badge holders and were allowed to enter CES.

Cool...I like the free phone thing...they were playing Quake on a PDA? That must have been one good chip! Bit disappointed that there were no next gen graphics cards. I loved the shuttle basketball thing! That was cool! When's part two out?

About Part 2, I will be working on it today and perhaps I will post it late tonight, but probably it will be posted Saturday (there will be 3-4 parts, I'm leaning towards 3)
