MSI

MSI had quite a few things to show off at their booth. They had several MegaPCs, a bunch of MP3 players, a few Home Media Centers, some peripherals, even a few notebooks and a tablet PC!

Mega 400

The Mega 400 is a revised Mega 651. The big difference is that the display is green, and it is for AMD processors (up to XP 3000+). Like the 651, it features a LCM display that shows MP3/CD/AM/FM status + an equalizer (Normal / POP / Classic / Jazz presets). With the PC Power Off, the Mega 400 is a Hi-Fi stereo that lets you listen to CDs, MP3s, or AM/FM (it even has a wireless remote control for PC Power Off mode!). You can also use it as a normal PC or Media Center, as well as a home theater.

Mega 865

The Mega 865 sports a new LCD display that has the same functions as the old LCM ones, but it's got color! I personally like the look of the LCM displays more, but that's just me! In addition to the features the Mega 400 has, the 865 is bundled with MSI Home Media Center Deluxe III. The 865, as you may have guessed, supports Intel P4 processors up to 3.06GHz (800FSB).

Mega 865 Enhanced

The 865 Enhanced reverts back to the LCM display for some reason (I like how the LCM displays look more than the LCD display anyway, oh well!). This MegaPC offers much more than the others! With PC Power Off, you can watch DVD movies, listen to Audio or MP3 CD and AM/FM radio, and with a remote controller. The PC also has a 7-in-1 card reader, Firewire and USB2.0 ports. As if all that isn't enough, the 865 Enhanced also has a wireless antenna to connect to your wireless home network! It doesn't look bad, either. This one supports P4 processors up to 3.6GHz (800FSB). In the pictures, its the one on the top...

M3000 Notebook

The M3000 is powered by Intel Centrino mobile technology, has a 15" diagonal XGA display, offers up to 6 hours of battery life, had all the ports you could need (USB, infrared, parallel, serial, TV-Out), a DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive, and it looks damn good. I've got a Sony Vaio, and I'd trade it in a heartbeat for this beautiful machine.

MS-5561 / MS-5562

The MS-5561 & 5562 were some strange looking media players! They stuck out from everything else there, but hey at least they have two different styles of strange! The features speak for themselves here: Built-In 128 or 256MB Flash, SD/MMC/MS Memory Card Supported, Play Video (WMV, MPEG4, DivX/MJPEG), Record Digital Content, FM Tuner, and more! I would tell you everything about them, but part of the description is blocked by the product in the pictures! Perhaps I should have grabbed a flyer for these? Oh well, moving on!
