What they did have was a very nice suite at the fabulous Wynn hotel. Never ones to miss the chance to hang out in a suite we could never afford; we begged and pleaded with iRiver to let us in. Well, we didn't have to beg, but they did let us in. I'm a big fan of iRiver MP3 players and quite enjoyed my review of the Clix last year. The iRiver folks sat us down and introduced their upcoming line of personal media players.

The F300 looks like an MP3 player on one side, with a 2.1" TFT screen with a resolution of 176x220, and media control buttons. The buttons are touch sensitive and not only respond to clicks, but you can also slide your finger across them to scroll up and down or side to side. The opposite side of the F300 looks more like a traditional cell phone with the number pad and a smaller display. There is a switch on the side of the F300 that allows you to switch between the MP3 player and cell phone functionality. The F300 is GSM/GPRS/EDGE ready, has a built-in 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, 100 MB of onboard memory and a microSD slot for up to an additional 2 GB of storage.

Many of you reading this may remember that we covered their new lineups for the coming years during our time at CES the last two years. This year they had their next series of cases to show us as well as some hard drive enclosures, power supplies and their HTPC cases, plus an interesting AV component I'll talk about at the end of the article.
