Introduction
Sandisk, the world's largest manufacturer of flash memory, expands their offerings. Though Sandisk has been around making memory devices since 1988, they have recently entered the MP3 manufacturing market. As one would expect from a versatile memory maker, Sandisk's line of MP3 players can act as a voice recorder, FM tuner and a flash USB storage device, rolled into a stealth package slightly bigger than a box of Tic-TacsĀ®. Now if only you could get the minty fresh breath.
The Package
This MP3 player is packed along with some real goodies. The earbuds that come with this MP3 player are showing signs of evolution. I say this because there is a distinctly different length of wire for the left and right earpieces. The right earbud is about a foot longer than the left, designed for the MP3 player to be worn on the left side. The included armband and clear plastic case allow you to wear the MP3 player! you guessed it, on your arm. The CD that comes with the player has on it the electronic manual and a free copy of MusicMatch Jukebox. For those of you with a short attention span, there is a quick start pamphlet. Last but not least, a single AAA battery and a USB cable are also included.
