Avatars

hmmm. I just linked to an Avatar on my server. When I go through a proxy server to this forum it loads just fine. But when I am looking directly at my post the page just sits there and spins its wheels without loading my Avatar. Obviously it has to do with the fact that I am surfing the forum with the same computer it's trying to pull my Avatar from. Anyway to get around this little prob, it's slightly annoying?

Also do you think you guys will ever start having Avatars hosted on the server or would that take up too much space? :D

probably will take up too much space lol. we don't have the bandwidth for that. Perhaps soon tho

I think I solved the problem anyway. I just set up a mock geocities web page and will link to there. Knowing them though they might shut it down after a few days. :roll:
