View Full Version : Matrix Reloaded to suck bigtime

I saw The Matrix Reloaded last night. The movie was ten times worse than I had expected it to be. The end of the movie was alright now that I think about it, but everything else was just boring. The plot wasn't developed enough. The thing that I hated the most was the scene where Neo was battling all of those agents at once. Started out good, but then they put in a computer generated Neo when you can tell they didn't have to. Also, a character that is introduced and turns out to be a main character, dissapears in the middle of the movie. Where did he go? Who the hell knows; you don't ever see him for the rest of the movie. Also, Niobe was in it for like four minutes. I won't give anything away, but when Neo did that certain thing for Trinity in the end, it was corny as freaking hell. I give this movie 1.5, maybe 2.0 stars at the most. When you see it, you will believe me. Don't forget to catch the Matrix Revolutions trailer after the credits.
nothing will discourage me from my ultimate goal of looking cool in a black leather trenchcoat with a katana at my side while i watch the movie later sometime this week! BOOYAH!

i would be careful with the katana out in public DnD.
my friend got busted by a rent-a-cop for carrying a machete into a mall just to get it sharpened at the knife store. they called real cops in, it was a mess. and this was many years prior to the US's terrorism worries.
But, i assume by your handle and your webpage, you have lots of swords and the like running around your house.
please tell me you don't dress up like a half-elf mage and run around the forest casting spells on your other costumed friends.
umm...cuz if you do...ummm...can i join :?:
w00t!!
lol just messing I dun have a katana....yet i'm saving up for a witchblade from the Lord of the Rings movie...gonna buy that then a katana :D :D i started collecting daggers, swords, knives about 2-3 months ago.

I don't know about ten times worse. I think lots of peeps are going to dislike it only because expectations are so high.
I have to agree with you on the CG neo, it looked like crap. Especially since I read this article about how much effort they went to to make it look real. The scene where neo flies down to swoop them up looked real bad too. They should have stuck to using real people.
I wasn't a big fan of the ending, only because they reduced it to a TV show cliffhanger. At least end it like a real movie.
Doh, I didn't stay for the revolutions trailor!!!! Anywhere I can catch it online?

Expectations are too high... it is a good movie... not the best..... but I liked it
The first one had the plot, this one has the action.
The flying thing is a little over the edge though..... :?

So what are you waiting for then, get thee to the theater.
Oh and don't forget to pay close attention to the ending where Zion blows up, morpheus spontaneously combusts, and intergalactic aliens save neo.

I was thinking more about the movie....I like it a lot now. I realized how the Wachowski brothers wrote this story for themselves, and not for the public. Proof of this is that the third Matrix is coming out this year too (instead of putting it out in 2004 to get more awards), which means they aren't like the other money-whore assmunch Hollywood dudes that try to get all of the awards they can get. This second Matrix has an ongoing plot that is still being developed in the third Matrix. HSduisad hfsgdfsydf I can't talk about this anymore because I can go on forever.

it was a good movie, but not amazing as it was expected to be
90% animatrix 10% make out sessions
bah neo is too powerful now, his big agent smith fight scene was xiaoxiao3 in 3d.
but it still was a really good movie
and waiting through 20min of credits for a 30sec clip isnt really worth it, its probably online somewhere anyways

yeah, the end trailor wasn't really worth it. maybe if they had shown trinity topless...
anyway, the middle movie of a trilogy is always the most difficult to make. empire strikes back had a lot to cover, two towers had to gap the 1st and 3rd movie...mighty ducks 2 had all that homoerotic stuff to explain...it's just the nature of the second film.

haha mighty ducks 2? that doesnt even qualify as a movie haha.

Why is Trinity their white rabbit but doesn't even get around? I mean she can't be a white rabbit if she only loves Neo... what is up with that?
Topless and her being done sideways and up the ass would have been a fantastic addition to the movie.

**DONT READ IF YOU HAVENT SEEN RELOADED **
well as long as were discussing the trailer for revolutions
heres my take on whats going on/gunna happen
agent smith, after he killed that 1 guy at the phone, is now in and out of the matrix(sole survivor/the guy that cut his hand *to feel pain* and was about to assassinate neo). smith is more of a beast, and even though he is "free" of the matrix and faces deletion, his sole programming purpose was to stop neo, so he continues doing that. then instead of 10% neo/trinity making out, it will be 25%. so neo finally chose the other door on the 6th try, but the prophecy was not lying about the end of the war. then neo killed those 4 sentinels at the end... maybe theyre in a matrix inside a matrix? oh well whatever, oh ya, neo had better die
im still thinking about some other stuff but whatever, if any1 has anything to add go ahead.
No, i've talked with some people at another board i go to and this guy says that the directors or writers of this movie (two brothers) that their will be no Matrix within a Matrix...

It is so painful seeing it May 14th, because you know the next day people are going to talk about it and you already know shit and they sound like idiots...and in math class if a teacher dares to use the word matrix...all the little idiots flip out and act like little kids, saying stuff like ooh yeah the movie the matrix this the movie the matrix that. I am too stupid to know about those two-dimensional vectors...duh I am a freaking moron..and everytime I hear the word matrix, I automatically assume we are talking about the movie.........I hate kids like that.

I have a thought, what if Neo is actually part machine? This was my first thought once Neo destroyed those sentinals. That and maybe that's why he's "the one" and as fast as the machines in the Matrix. Maybe he was one of those programs that decided to change its programming but at the same time he was also part human? Or what if he was a program in the Matrix that decided to infiltrate the mind and body of a human connected to the Matrix to release himself? Probably the same thing that Agent Smith did to escape the Matrix if indeed that one dude who wants to kill Neo in the real word is Agent Smith. What do you all think?
