Everyday I sit on the bus and hear kids say "Have you heard the new matrix game"... "Have I heard of it? I have it!" ... "Can I borrow it?" ... "It's impossible to burn, and I need it!!" - n00b... I've heard many good things about it, and only a few negatives. One of the negatives is that when the agents move, they don't blur, like they do in the movie. Some good things that amazed my friends was the outline of the bullet, how when it got closer to you, you actually saw the outline get bigger. And when you punch someone, it's in slo mo.... any other good things?

Well, I heard it sucks, but I can't say from experience. Apparently the AI is horrible, with agents walking into walls and stopping, and yes, the effects arn't there.

Nah man, the movie rocked. It's always good to see some kind of sexual activity in a movie, haha.
The game totally sucks though. I see no reason to get it. I heard it is really short and quite easy to beat, whoever thinks the game is good should be shot.

I have to disagree knucks. That "sex scene" was the worst crap sex scene I have ever seen in my life. It wasn't even sexy, it was just boring and retarded. The whole beginning of the movie was just stupid crap, and the rest wasn't much better...

well, it was "interesting"
i liked the rave scene, although it had nothing to do with the movie

Funny how the movie is advertised like crazy, and I hear people saying 'I can't wait to see the movie at midnight when it comes out!' People are excited to see it, and when it comes out, they all were disappointed. Well, I know star wars turned out good... I wonder if the matrix people are embarresed of making another one... but, then again, I am speaking from what I have heard. I haven't even seen the movie...

Star Wars good? BAH! They will never live up to the original 3 episodes!

No, they never will. But I was saying that at least most people came out pleased with the movie after seeing it...

Not really, people would be embarrased to buy tickets 3 weeks in advance and then say the movie sucks. I saw episode II, and it sucked balls. All these "new and improved movies" aren't that great. Plus, nothing can live up to The Godfather saga.

Lol, perfect example: Dumb and Dumberer, that movie is gonna bomb, just cuz its two stupid kids and not jim carey and whats his face... i want to see some good movies lol. City of God is the last really good movie I saw. It isn't about god, its about this brazilian city, its a foreign movie, its all these little gangster kids, showing how they are in real life. It was a badass movie I recommend you guys see it or DL it or something..

I am 1 o those who went to the movie at 12:00 in the mournin opening day expecting to see the greatest movie ever. Unfortuately it didnt live up to my expectations although realisticly I dont think anything could. if it werent for that HORRBLE Zion crap the overall movie would get an A in my book. 1 thing that helped my score was that I playd the game thru before watchin the movie. it was kinda wierd not seeing more of Niobe and Ghost in the movie after having spent 2 days straight playing them in the game but it really filled in the action gaps (ie the whole Nuclear reactor part) Although I had a rather forced expierence playing the game, wanting to beat it before the movie, I really enjoyed it. I can see where ppl wouldnt like it, the controls take a WHILE, if ever, to get used to and and the game itself is really really hard. but once you get the hang of it there's some amazing stuff u can do (ie matrix dodging, runnin across the wall, disarming guys in all sorts of different ways, doin the Keanu hallway cartwheel shoot, etc). You really need to LEARN the moves, as numerous as they are, in order to fully enjoy the game. Fighting the agents, trinity and sereph is also pretty cool too. The bad include the manual gun aiming, which i never really used, any of the car chase parts and dying a million times.

I still haven't seen the movie yet... but, I have seen the part in the game where the 2 trucks collide, and it goes slow mo and camera goes around them. I thought I knew how they did all this stuff... now they have left me in the dust. :?

The effects in the second movie were great. You definately have to wonder how they did some of the stunts, especially the car chase scene. I looked at that and it was pretty good. I guess it was a good combination of traditional camera tricks and computers.

Yup, this world is getting scary. I mean, if someone had a good picture of you, from different angles, and they were good, they could literally make a 3d model of you and make you do things. Some times you see those commercials on TV and you don't even know they are animated.

Pretty much the entire fight seen when Neo has that poll is computer animation. Several of the cars on the highway scene were computer generated too.

Yea... I know it's done on the computer. Probably with 3d studio max, or Maya... but if you are familiar with that, you would be able to relate to the video. I mean, sure, someone can do that... but it's a matter of time. That must of taken them so long... unless there is some good plug ins I don't know about, which there probably is...

I thought The Matrix Reloaded was crap compared to the first, but not too bad overall compared to most movies... City of God was amazing by the way, I loved it... and I thought the visual effects with Neo and the Agents was crap, looked terrible, but the car seen made up for it big time. :) The game, I played a bit and it was lacking something... I dunno, I just didn't like it and I wouldn't spend my money on it but I heard from some that they had a blast just watching it. That wouldn't make me buy anything. And I thought the sex scene was un-needed and that the dialogue seemed more like filler in-between action sequences, exept for some. Story-line was still genius and you must give them that, but the first one pwnz this one IMHO. Thanks. :P :)

Hahah... well, speaking of movies... There was that part in Signs at the kids birthday party when that green things walked a long. At first, that freaked me out... now I know it's coming...
P.S. Don't tell anyone I jumped up during the movie

Me too, I saw it opening night and everything in the theater was suspenseful, the people were screaming and everything. Something about that movie that night seemed so real and, 'this could happen-like', I was literally shaking and grasping onto foreign objects with fear before AND after that part and everything seemed so horrible for that moment. And it wasn't one of those deals where everyone laughed it off, it was as if it were really happeneing and we were all watching the news. I don't think that will ever happen again to me in a theater but I wish it would... Now I own Signs and damn does it sound good on my new z-640s. :D
