I am currently working on a message board, well, it's done... I'm just doing a lot of testing. It currently has these features (these are the features of the new xboard, when I am done testing I will release it...):

Text Formatting:
With a simple special order of characters you can underline, bold, or even italize text.

Powerful Allow/Block Feature:
With the xboard's powerful allow/blocking feature, you can block a certain message, an IP address, a certain name, and lastly a certain e-mail/URL address. You can also use the asterisk character to block all names. Why would you want to do this? Well, maybe you want a private message board. Meaning, you can block all names, and only allow certain ones. This can also be done with IP addresses, e-mail/URL addresses, and messages.

Notification:
Select whether you would like to receive e-mail notification of new posts or not.

Smilies:
The xboard has a very good smiley set. They can be viewed here.

Viewable Option:
When someone posts a message, they can select whether they want their message to be viewable by everyone, or just the admin of the message board.

100% Customizable
With the xboard, you can custom everything including the text color, link color, background [image or color], active link color, visited link color, and also any added HTML/CSS/Javascript added.

Control Panel:
You can log into the xboard control panel with your username and password. Inside the control panel, you can modify the xboard options [refresh rate, theme color, extra HTML/CSS/Javascript], view the HTML code of your message board, change your password, e-mail, notifications, delete unwanted posts and lastly you can take advantage of the allow/block feature. Also, your username is your xboard "admin" name. Meaning, by default, no one can post with your username.

Profanity Filter:
Don't want profanity on your message board? With this powerful feature you can enter the bad word, and then what to replace it with!

URL Recognition:
All URL's will be recognized and turned into a hyperlink.

Message Order:
Select whether you would like your newer messages to appear at the bottom of the board, or at the top.

Transfer:
If you are already using the tag-board service, or zonkboard, you can transfer your messages from your old account to your new one.

Character Limit:
Enter the maximum character limit per note.

Add Smilies:
Do you wish that you could have your own smilies? Well, now you can! Just select the special code, and then the location of your smilie!

Time Between Posts:
With this feature you can select the amount of time between posts, in days, hours, minutes and lastly seconds.

Archive:
Tired of having tag-board and other services cut down your messages? Well, your xboard won't cut down your messages at all! Instead, you can select how many messages you want displayed in your archive!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How is this? What do you think? Anything else I should add?

Thanks...

P.S. If you are interested in beta testing for the xboard, please send me a PM...[/b]

Cool, I made a message board once. Didn't have that many features though.

"Kurtis : Hmmm this must be very early version?"

I thought it was going to be a 'forum.' I guess I misunderstood you lol. Don't take it personal, I just was thinking it was supposed to be like a forum like this one :) Pretty cool though so far. I couldn't do that much :P
