Working is bull. I should get free money. Just for being me. Yes, free.

I will give you a crisp $5 if you do that sexy dance you do so well :P
Lol... jk. We need to start getting more money for banners so that you don't have to work and we can both devote our time to the site. As for me... I am still on vacation... approx. 2 wks left.
I bet a bounch of the people on the forum just browse and don't bother to post.

yeah, tech sites don't always have loads of different contributors. there are motorcycle and car tech sites i look at all the time but don't post in. i've gotten tons of great tech advice and help from ttl.

Yes, but that is not good enough. You all just wait. Soon our site will be #1, even over Yahoo! And every single person on this planet will be forced to post on our forums by new international law set up by the all powering The Tech Lounge government set up to rule this tiny planet and all its pathetic inhabitants! You will all bow to us, do as we say, and build an interstellar craft that can also travel through time and dimensions and we shall find god and destroy him! The Tech Lounge will be your god! Everyone will bow to us, BOW!
BWAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!

you crackheads lol... I am gone for 2 weeks and Brian is already letting out our plan... ERRRRR... i mean rambling about world domination... what a crazy idea... cough... cough... we wouldn't do that to you... cough cough... (take your waffle and bow...)
Yea i see people browsing anonymously all the time, they just wanna check out the posts and stuff, don't really have anything to add so they don't post
a lot of people browsing forums are looking for answers for specific stuff so they do a search, well most good geeks do since a lot of niche forums out there like bitch out n00bs for posting already posted stuff.

I run a board myself (lvgeek.net (http://www.lvgeek.net) if you're interested... sorry, shameless plug over) and we have the same problem. ALOT of registered users, and even more anonymous readers, but very few active users. I have no idea how you bring more of them into the fold... American culture doesn't really encourage people to become engaged with anything, boards included. Then again, maybe they're all stupid and shouldn't post anyway :)
I bet a bounch of the people on the forum just browse and don't bother to post.
its just soo complicated these days. I mean, you gotta click on the button reply, and then u gotta click on submit.

I clicked on Reply and then I was going to click submit, but I figured I would type something in here first... :)
I think part of the problem is sometimes finding something to say to reply rather than the act itself. Also some people just let other people do the talking for them.
hmm..does anyone else think we should report this plan of global domination to the fbi?

Personally I dont like registering for forums cause I think im gonna get a ton a spam and such. giving away personal info for every forum i want to post in doesnt float my boat. I'm a 2-3 forum kinda guy. Wish there were a single system which ran EVERY FORUM IN THE WORLD, mwha haha. *hint* idea for world domination thru forum ownership. :?
