We took a look at the AirFlo Executive Chair from Desks 4 Computers.

seems like a nice chair, but damn 269 for a chari? @#%*&)@$# Man, I think I'll just stick with my old blue desk chair that I took the pins out of so it reclines really far back. Damn, definitely the best chair I've ever had.

yeah its pricey... but wow I love that chair... its so comfy, keeps you in good position... no complaints other than the price. Also it is VERY sturdy, I tried bending the backing of it and had my 250(ish?) pound friend swivel back and forth and lean way back in it, it works great. I think we will try to get more stuff from Desks4Computers to review, I was impressed with this chair. Perhaps a cheaper chair or some desks or something?

hold on a sec....Kurtis aren't you in Europe? how could you have had your 250 poundish friend sit in that chair if you are on the other side of the world?!?
something doesn't smell right here...and i think it's Kurtis's chair.

ooh you guys are branching out now. You should see if you can get your hands on one of these neat guys, http://www.hermanmiller.com/CDA/SSA/Product/0,,a10-c440-p205,00.html. But at $600 smackers that would be even more out of budgetary range.

I hear you about that chair. I got mine pretty cheap when I was working for DuPont's surplus sales warehouse.. got an expensive office chair for peanuts.. slightly used but I don't mind.. *grin*

I just read the update on the this chair; you said the screw was too tight, and the chair was making noise? Try this... look in you garage for White Lithium grease. Its usually used for automotive applications, and in some places bicycle apps, as well. Use a tiny bit, enough to fill in the grooves between the threads of the screws halfway, but more than the amount you would use between a heatsink/processor. The grease helps prevent the threads from crossthreading and rust/oxidation locking, as well as easing the installation of the screws in the first place. If you use that tiny amount that I mentioned before, it somehow prevents the screws from coming out. Also, the White Lithium also only helps on large diameter screws, don't think that putting a little grease on the tiny computer screws in your case will help out.
White Lithium stays solid for the most part in all temperature conditions, meaning that it will never develop a layer of oil if left in the tub over time. You can also pick up a tub (they sell it by the pound at Auto parts stores around Austin) for cheap, like $2.99 a bucket.

I'll have to try that one of these days. It gets to be pretty annoying, but I've sort of gotten used to it over time.
