I used to have a billion 300 Watt power supplies laying around. Oh yeah, I spliced them all together to run a car stereo amp in my room. Heheheh.

As always Directron's got the goods. I've just ordered an Aluminum Super Flower case w/ a 350watt supply, found here http://www.directron.com/sf401t1bk.html ,for around 60+shipping. It has a removable MB tray and an intake fan filter to boot. Looks really cool..to me, and has a full window. Aluminum is pretty thin at .8mm but you cant beat the price.

Looks pretty kewl, but I think the removable motherboard tray is going to be a pain to remove. Of course I am going with the pictures supplied, but it looks like the tray doesn't slide out. If you look at the back of the case picture, there are rivets and such around the pci slots and I/O slots and I don't see any screws to release the tray to slide out. So I guess the tray is just screwed in on the inside and is released that way.

hmm, yea i see your point. I'll let u know as soon as it comes in. Maybe post a review or something as I haven't seen one for this specific case yet. Lots of reviews out there for the 201 version which is much higher in quality but also in price, circa $130

ARRRGG, damn u directron. The description given on the site is wrong wrong wrong. Even the manufactuer's site lies. Theres no removable MB tray, caniswolfie, ur were right the tray is riveted to the case, or fan filter. The picture on directron of the back is also wrong, think its the sf-201 model which is about twice as much as mine. directron NOOOOoooooooo. Blah. Well enough with the ranting, regardless of the WRONGNESS I still think I got a good deal. The case feels alittle flimsey but it looks REAL slick and in the end thats all that matter in buying a premodded case. This is my first mod case purchase so I can't really recommended it, but I can say that I'm happy with my purchase.

I think Directron pulls a lot of their descriptions from the manufacturers web sites.

I'm sorry to hear about that. At least you seem to still like your case. Personally I don't usually use the removable tray all that much. It's a nice perk when I buy a case. :)
