open this to check if your system supports hard drive monitoring.

basically disk utility that checks and monitors the temperature of your hard drives to help prevent data loss. Temperature can display a warning message. System administrators can setup e-mail address or computer name for e-mail and network messages about overheating

Wow, that's really useful, my drive doesn't support it, but useful none the less. :) :P

Damn nice program. :) My HD actually supports the monitoring. It is a pretty handy little utility. I will have to see if my system at home supports it, I currently have an external temp sensor attached to the surface of the drive. I have a couple of servers that are chocked full of HD's, it would be nice to know what they are running at. Thanks :D
