lots of places sell sound activated lights, its nothing new
they are quite annoying. its better to just keep then on or off

Most allow you to adjust whether you want it sound-activated or running as a normal cathode, but yeah, I'm sure they would be annoying... especially in a dark room, unless you were having a rave or something. 8)

You know what would be cool.... if you use those sound activated lights for your Car... that way when you play music with bass, the lights would dance to the beat... :D
I'm sure they already have those specifically for cars... but i bet they're probably 3 times the price of these puppies...
That sounds like it has accident written all over it. :wink:, Although sound activated lights might be good for an MP3 server, or to hyponotize small children... :twisted:

We had a local carshow here last week and I think I saw a few sound-activated neons, but most were just regular/always on...
