I vote for Kodos! I mean Kang!
i think its time for a black president(al sharpton)..atleast hopefully then they would stop worrying about other countries problems and start fixing the problems in there own country..like i was just watching cnn..and they gave the guy who tipped them off about ooday and kusay(however you spell them) $30 million fricken dollers..among the billions spent on iraq..when they could have spent the money on fixing poverty and gun violence in america.
id say me for president..but im canadian =)

I think its time for a competient president whether he/she be black or white or hispanic(whom make up the majority of the minority population), w/e. Too often when bush comes on to speak have I changed the channel just to avoid his idiocy. STOP STUMBLING U MORON!. He's supposed to be the voice of our nation.. apparently as a nation we can't speak straight. Sharpton is not much better when it comes to f'in stuff up. Poverty in america is not an issue, i dont ever remember hearing of ne1 dying of hunger here, and as Michael Moore pointed out gun violence is cultural and not easy fixed with money. Stability in Iraq is vital to the econmic stability of the world and that $30 million in the long run "should" payback 100 fold. Isolationism does not work as we've seen in WW1, WWII, Vietnam, Korea and maybe Korea again after pretty much decided on ignoring that N. korean freak dictator. We need action, we need an intelligent voice and we need fries wit that.

Hehe, yeah, Sharpton is a preacher man, I'd rather have an Atheist president so he doesn't try to work God into all of his speeches and interviews... for instance like Bush does about the gay marriage issue, because in his primitive mind, God told man and woman to marry eachother in the beginning... ermm... riiiiiiight. :P

It would be nice to have a non-religious president. Or at least a president that doesn't use religious biases in his/her/it's decisions.

yea, but we gota remember that this country was founded by radical puritans who fled europe cause of their freak reserved beliefs. Its hard to keep religion out of things. Prohibiting gay marriages sucks but marriage itself is completely based in religion, more specificly the very religion that prohibits flame'age so to allow gay ppl to marry contridicts the system. I think Howard Deans has got it right, equal rights in the eyes of the law no more no less everybody is still created equal.
none of them will be able to beat bush...sorry but no way i mean he got us into two wars though alot hate him for that more then 70%+ like him for it and agreed with him he's been through alot his first four years and has done pretty good some say bad i say good he's gonna get lots of votes my friends no one will be able to beat him if they do i will be shocked and appalled...

kay, i added a poll option for big bush for all u republicans out there. I personally think that ppl only say they like bush for nationalistic reasons and will drop him like a brick as soon as the next elections come up but u never know, with a republican as governer (the Schwart) in cali things could be very.... different
so you think what i'm saying is a bunch of bs?
MaNiAk21
08-10-2003, 07:07 PM
Yes, most people are supporting Bush out of shear ignorance about what is going on. There are many people that think you should support the President and the country no matter what it does. Which happens to be one of the stupidest ideas I've heard in a long time... pisses me off...
so...ummm my free though is bs? so the reason i believe that bush should be elected again is bs? pal you and that other guy just crossed a line between me liking you and me disliking you...my reasons for wanting him to be re-elected is because of what he's done so far...the wars in Afgan. Iraq., the tax cut, the thing were he has a plan to help out Africa with its AIDs problem....their are numerous reasons why i support bush...not because of the reason you think i support him for. So don't you ever $%$#ing tell me what i'm thinking or what i'm thinking IS BS pal. Go get a $#%%ing life and get that $%%$ out of you're @$$.

He is saying most people. But it is true that alot of people do support the pres. no matter what.
Personally though, I am glad someone finally had the balls to attack Iraq. Besides that, I dislike both Republican and Democratic presidents. GO LIBERTARIAN PARTY! WOOO!

Gee, he got us into 2 wars which are far from over and may not solve the problems we were told they set out to fix, then he pushed a tax cut to help mostly the top 1% of the income ladder leaving us deeper in debt, and forcing cuts in health care , airport and border security, education, and other vital services, and his plan (if you can call it that) to help africa with the AIDS epidemic is too little too late , and too political to help too much. (but at least it's a start.)
No, I thing it's time for regime change right here at home, using the power of our votes we the people can restore our economy, our civil rights, our dignity, and our place as compassionate leaders in the world.
hey but isn't he like the only president who decided to help out Africa...or am i wrong? pls do tell me ;D Btw he said the tax cut would be for the poor...not the rich people.

Wow, wow, calm down there, I said, 'most people' although I should hve probably said some... I have absolutely NOTHING against those who truly support him and what he has done. I am all for the right to a different point of view, and I didn't at all attack you in my statements, why the hostility? Oh well, in my opinion, I think there are better leaders out there, but it is kind of hard to find one. Just remember that Bush ins't perfect, and I do believe that he is capable of making good progress and that he will. But I think that what he has done is decieving to his own people and that war should be the absolute last resort, and it wasn't in this case. That said, I defienetly don't like Sadaam or Usama, tyrants/terrorists are nothing good at all, but I'd rather see them in a maximum security prison then in a pieces at the bottom of a valley. What will that teach anyone? They certainly won't have time to learn that killing isn't the answer to their problems, and niether will have us... And please don't hate me because our opinions differ, I didn't mean to upset you :?

i don't think imprisonment is the answer.
I personally would like to see Saddam and Osama thrown into the middle of the ocean with nothing but a spoon. Why a spoon you say? So he can stab himself to death with a spoon of course.
Seriously though... I don't think the war was necessarily right, and I think he was uite deceptive about his reasoning, but it's a little late for all that. As for who will be president next, I'm sure it will be another rich white guy with connections. Our government is flawed, but I have been to other countries and in my eyes at least, ours is the best to be in.

Holy crap DnD! Now I know why you were pissed, I'm really sorry that happened, my post was posted 2 mins. after yours and I was typing in response to the ones before yours..
Kurtis, I agree, most governments are flawed, if not all... ermm... well.. all governments are flawed I'll make that. But I will fight against the flaws as hard as I can, regardless of the comparison.:) l0l

Lets not start hating eachother. It will only lead to flaming, which will lead to... well... i dunno, but it will be something very very bad. Possibly the end of the world.

The US has always provided a great deal of aid to africa.
and I know what he said, he's said alot of things, however if you look at what really happened, you wouldn't be so quick to believe him. either he's lying, or very misinformed, neither is something I look for in a president!

In reality all presidents are mis-informed, and I think its quite possible he believed in what he was saying. The prob in our government is that the president doesn't really do anything, other than say when to go to war. even that can be overruled though. the president is just a guy to look up to, they don't really have much power. the president doesn't know a lot of things, such as what is in area 51.

HAA, yea some1s watched ID4 1 to many times. The president is def mal informed but whether this is a result of time or security is fer them to know and us not to find out. his "power" is really only in the way of political clout and influence but as he is the ppls representitive it would not be smart to undermine his authority. that would seem a little despot. I still be believe that he is the single most powerful person in the world. DEAN 2004!!

Yeah.. definately..
I was in the Metropolitan Museum of Art when they had the Leonardo DeVinci exhibit and one of the items on display was one of books which was lent to the museum by the Bill and Miranda Gates foundation. Kinda scary when we saw that. A bunch of other stuff was donated by the Queen of England to see what other company they were around.
