i got nfl2k3 and rtcw on live..im going to buy ghost recon island thunder tommorow...anyone have any of these games and wanna play me?

Nope i dont have xbox live... i got a question tho for you...

do you know if you can hook up an xbox to a computer to make the monitor show the xbox game? the xbox has a S-VGA connection, and so does my graphics card, just haven't figured out how to get them to work together yet. Perhaps I need some sort of software bc straight hooking up the cables alone doesn't do it

You might need some sort of video input card I think. Go out of the Xbox into vid capture card then out video card. I don't know, I don't own one, but it is just a guess. :)

the FX 5600 has VIVO though. so it should be able to i think...

Dont know about using graphics cards as a pass through to a monitor, but i do know you can get a vga adapter that will let your xbox/ps2/gc be hooked up to it. But the few makes i have seen only let one device be connected at a time... wait a sec!!!

*slaps forehead*

A friend has his xbox playing through his grahpics card - ATI9800. He did the same with an ATI9700 AIW model so what ever it is that those two have makes it possible. I remember he click between tv mode - with the xbox on - or normal mode, and i think he could have it as a window on his desktop.

yeah, i called chaintech about it, and they said you need a TV tuner card basically. the vivo on the fx 5600 ultra is apparently really only to xfer video from a camcorder etc... :(

I want to get an ATI AIW 9800 PRO. soooo nice.

That will be it then - the AIW's (All In Wonder) come with tv tuner cards inbuilt :)
