It seems more news has popped up about the controversy about which card is better for the HL2 game and at this point all arrows are pointing towards ati. DAMN MARKETING! It seems hl2 will be offering an ati card software discount at hl2 launch .. lol , as part of the retail package! So basically nvidia is screwed with their spinning logo crap.

whats ati card software? its kinda weird that a $50 game would give a discount for a $400 piece of hardware.

I don't think that is gonna hurt nvidia too much. If your gonna spend that much for a gfx card then you probably already know whether or not you want an ATI or nVidia. A few bucks off probably isn't gonna change anyones opinion.
But I guess only time will tell.
