My ati tv wonder ve wont start tv
the cable is plugged in
i uninstalled all software and deleted all directories related to ati and reinstalled everything. Which had got rid of check the device manager to see if this device is working error but now when i click on tv nothing happens, but when i click on the others like video player,ect.. because they are related to software they work... what should i do..

i have sisoftware sandra 2003 if u need any information from there

u have the latest software? think I had a problem similar to urs when I had an all in wonder. dont remember exactly what I did but it was resolved rather quickly. good luck

ya , windows xp had to have updated software from website which i have done otherwise the card wouldnt work.. i had done that when i got the card but this is different... how can i tell if the card is messed up ... like as in a lightnining storm messed it up or something?

HAA, lightning I doubt would only target ur tv card. stuff like thats hard to fig out. I static zapped my crap tv card once(its all u need) and my comp keeps telling me a driver is missing. weird. How did it start not working?? did u install nething before the breakdown? try switching pci slots. if that doesnt work and all ur software and drivers are up to date than I can only assume its a problem wit windows or ur card. lol, guess im not much help :x

device manager error when i start tv so i reinstalled everything.. error is gone but nothing happens when i click on tv... i havent touched the card at all for a long time... but i did leave it on during lightning storms i think... but it seems fine, so im confused.. i'll try using a different pci slot..

How about ur directx and direct show, are they up to date?

I have an AIW ATI Rage128Pro PCI the TV didn't work, but then I found a combination of driver and ATI's multimedia software that worked.

Try different versions of drivers and Multimedia Center in different combinations.
