0xC00D1199 error

0xC00D1199 anyone know about this one? I am trying to use a game pad so I can play this game online,,,,, and it is xp friendly and drivers are loaded but for some reason I am getting this error 0xC00D1199 read up on it,, thought I had it figured out still somethings not right Please give me ideas Pleassssseee Thank You

Did you try reinstalling drivers? What game pad are you having problems with exactly?

:cry: yeppers drivers are all there,, for some reason this error has to do with media,, I have know idea why I am confused how a game pad have something to do with media player,,, Thanks MsK Jesterbong :?

i have no clue, i need more information to be able to help. i still don't know what this gamepad is you are talking about

I am having the same problems as jesterbong but mine is not to do with game pad drivers it is too do with windows media player, I have installed the divx drivers and player but my divx movies will not play in media player it come up with the 0xC00D1199 error message.

i can't for the life of me think what is making it do this and i can't find a website that explains what is going on. I have tryed uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them but it is no use.

are they ripped movies? windows media player 9 has some new security stuff for that, maybe thats the problem?

try playing them in winamp or something, see if that works

try divxplayer --> www.divx.com
if that works, forget about wmp...

I am trying to playback an audio file with a WAV extension and I am getting the same message. Windows Media Player 9 supports this extension, and I can't figure out why it gives this message.
