Ok so its not a tech question....well techniquelly it is!

Does anyone know something that will let me upload a .txt file or something like that so other people can see it.

Say you got a fan-fic and you don't want to take the time to copy and paste everything on one .html page.

How do you mean? Make a webpage out of a text document? If so, the all you have to do is upload the text file to...somewhere, and then put an URL somewhere pointing to it.

If not, and you mean kinda like to have something above or below the text bit, then I'm pretty sure that you wil have to paste it.

Well, maybe you can find some Perl script on the net somewhere. All it would have to do is add the http headers to a text file whenever it is requested.

so what you're saying is find a perl program that takes a .txt turns it into an .html file and all you need to do is add a durn header? awesome :D

Im preety sure if the file is chmod'd to 755 IE will open a text file in the browser

nah i need it as an .html because I got specific fonts and colors and images I need to put in em.

You might even be able to import the text file into an html editor or even into word, then save as html. That would give you the capability of changing the fonts etc. Even frontpage would do it. IF you don't have access to those, there are plenty of good cheap (free) html editors that should do what that.

the html headers are quite simple, so you could just take the txt file and add them in and rename the extension to be .html.

if thats not what ur asking..ive had 2 much.. :P
