OK, here is the background info.

I have 2 of these Fong Kai cases http://store.yahoo.com/directron/fk320.html

One is currently intact and works fine. The other was pretty much destroyed in shipping :x (i.e. most of the plastic parts were damaged and unusable, but the core of the case is fine). So i stripped off all the plastic, including the front bezel, and top peice. What I am left with is a pretty square case which actually looks nice in the horizontal position. What I want to do is spruce up the front since the bezel is gone and possible modify the 5.25" drive bays to also go horizontal. The purpose being I will alter both cases to look like servers (which they are) rackmounted. These units will be stacked so all you are most likely to see is the front anyway. I don't have any pictures yet, but will take some when I get home from work today.

All else fails, I was just going to paint the bare metal black and call it a day, but I am open to other ideas.

hm, i duno bro, be creative i guess :P Not sure what you will do for mounting drives horizontally, i'd just leave the drives vertical if i was u... CDs stay in sideways like that anyways with no problem. Just make the front look cool

It was a free case. That is why you should always check the package contents when they arrive. I kept it in the box stored in my basement for a good 6-8 months. Didn't have a need for it, until one day I decided to open it up, at least what was left of it.
