I went through 2 cutting wheels that came with the dremel and only got 20cm's through my case... is this normal? what kind of cutting wheels do you guys use, and how often do you have to replace them? and is it worth getting one of the diamond cutting wheels?
Thanks!

well, if you go too fast with the dremel, you will wear the wheels way faster. going slow makes them last longer.
but, if you go get some reinforced cutting wheels, they may be stronger than the ones that came with the dremel (not sure what kind it comes with...)
you might try the diamond cutting wheel, but you don't need it. I suggest getting a 20-pack (or whatever # it is) of the reinforced cutting wheels

I like the carbide bits. They're kinda expensive for dremel bits but they last. One bit got me through 2 cases and a nintendo and still looks brand new. All plastic stuff, but I was impressed. If your case is aluminum then the best tool is a nibbler. The powered nibblers get quite expensive but they seem like a pretty handy tool if you're serious about modding.
