benchmark scores with 9800Pro 128MB

I have a Sapphire Radeon 9800Pro with 128MB DDR, Athlon 64 3000+, and 1GB RAM and my 3dMark03 score is around 5800. Is this low? Most of what I've read on comparably equipped systems suggests I should be getting about 200 points higher. And is 200 points even enough to make any kind of difference? Thanks

i wouldn't worry about how many 3dmarks your comp is scoring, to be honest. synthetic benches such as 3dmark mean little. and to answer your question, no, i don't believe 200 points is anything to worry about even if you do care about the 3dmark score

I would be more concerned with your FPS than a synthetic benchmark.
