I am out of work at the moment, so selling a lot of the stuff that I have laying around here, since need the cash.

So you can email me at thaw_out@safe-mail.net if you are interested in any of the following items. The prices I am listing below are pretty reasonable. I only got one of each of these, so I am selling on a first come / first serve basis.

Starting with the biggest item first:

1st) Corsair XMS 3200 Pro XL (Xtreme Latency) memory that is rated for 2-2-2-5. This stuff is currently selling for $375 on newegg.com when brand new.

I had won mine in a contest at thetechlounge.com a few months back. Its only saw a few months of use and I ran memtest for 24 hours before listing the item here to confirm it. Works 100% perfectly and corsair provides a lifetime warranty but I don't think the warranty is transferable. But if you have any problems during the first 30 days, then I will be willing to act as a go between between you and corsair to exchange it.

Item is in good condition. Only a minor problem is that the coloring is off on the metal label and a couple of the characters in the lettering are worn off on the metal label on the outside of the heatsink. I don't think anyone really cares about the label, so this shouldn't be a problem. It got worn off when I would wipe down the heatsink every so often to clean it off.

I am selling this corsair memory for $235, which is a very good price for Corsair Xtreme Latency 2-2-2-5. First come first serve. And I am sure thetechlounge.com can confirm I won this item.

Contact me if you need more information / descriptions on this item. Or if you are interested in buying.

2nd) Next item I am selling is an external plextor PX-708UF drive. This is an 8x dvd-writer external drive that supports both USB and firewire. I had this drive for a few months and I kept it in excellent condition. I got this item with only the drive, power adapter, vertical stand, and USB cable. No software is included. Any necessary drivers can be downloaded from plextor.com. The drive sells for $200 new on newegg.com. It usually sells for around $122 to $150 on ebay.

I am selling it for $85 since it doesn't include software. So I think that is a fair markdown. This is an external drive, so great if you are in a situation where you need a high quality manufactured external dvd writer / reader.

Contact me if you need more information / descriptions on this item. Or if you are interested in buying.

3rd) Next item I am selling is a HP DVD Writer DVD 300i. This item was used only for a few months. I had gotten it before I had gotten the external plextor drive above, and it was my first dvd-writer that I had. It includes the original box, all documentation, and software.

Item is in good condition. Only minor problem with the manufacturer's cardboard box. I had to remove the UPC code in order to apply for the rebate. I had gotten this item on rebate.

I just checked and this item sells for between $35 cheapest and $55 most expensive on ebay.

So I will sell it for $39.

Contact me if you need more information / descriptions on this item. Or if you are interested in buying.

4th) Asus K7V motherboard with AMD Slot A - 600 MHZ processor but includes the necessary adapter that plugs into the processor for overclocking it up to 1000 mhz. I have run this machine for 2 years at 800 mhz. It also includes 256 megabytes of virtual-channel pc-133 memory. This was my old machine before I upgraded to an Athlon XP Barton 2500.

I am selling the entire combo = Motherboard + Processor + Memory = $75 bucks.

I think that is a very good price. The motherboard by itself will sometimes sell for $60 bucks on ebay, and I am including both a CPU + Memory with the motherboard. 256 MB of Pc-133 memory will sometimes sell for $30 bucks by itself. And the processor will sell for $10 bucks. So seperately all the items are worth $100.

So $75 bucks is very reasonable.

Contact me if you need more information / descriptions on this item. Or if you are interested in buying.

5th) Antec 300 Watt Switching Power Supply - PP303XP

I am selling this for $10 bucks.

Contact me if you need more information / descriptions on this item. Or if you are interested in buying.

6th) Maxtor - Promise Ultra100 IDE PCI adapter. These sell between $10 and $25 on ebay.

I will sell mine for $10 bucks even.

No software or cables is included.

My email again is thaw_out@safe-mail.net and you can contact me at that email about any of the above items.

Sincerely,
Robert

Wow man, you sound like you really need to get rid of that stuff. I'm sorry, I'm not interested, but I'm positive someone will be. It's a real shame about your situation making you give up your goods.

But good luck with your job situation, and hopefully someone will take interest in your parts.

I sold the memory last night and the person was suppose to send payment today.

So the memory is sold, but ALL the other items are still for sale if anyone is interested in any of them.

I will edit my original post later today, since I plan to add the remaining items I am selling. I got a few computer games to sell, and a very old K6-2 computer system I have sitting in my closet.

I was surprised that I didn't get more responses on those DVD-writer drives that I am selling, since listing them at $15 below what they normally sell for on ebay. So I thought price was pretty good.

And that ASUS K7V Slot-A motherboard I am selling will sell for up to $59 bucks on ebay by itself (just the motherboard by itself often sells for between $55 to $59 on ebay), and I am including three items: the motherboard + cpu + 256 mb of memory for only $75 bucks, but nobody seems interested? I thought this was also a good price that selling this at.

Sincerely,
Robert
