Half-Life 2 Wallpaper

I really needed a break from the default Windows XP wallpaper so I decided to whip up a HL2 wallpaper of my own. Nothing special. I just took screenshots of the game and composed an image of a scene I would like to have seen in the game. There are a lot of hints at a continued invasion of earth throughout the game but nothing on a relatively large scale. I think it would have been cool to see hundreds of Combine drop-ships carrying troops, invading an occupied city. Hopefully Valve will release an expansion that features the 7 hour war!

The wallpaper is 1280 x 1024 and weighs about 432k. Click link for full version. Right-click -> 'save as' to download it.

Guys, there is a beautiful mod (lol) called Garrys Mod v7. This is an excellent modification for half life 2. get it at garry.tv you can check out all of the excellent things you can make with it. And since it uses the people/objects/vehicles in the game, it supports screen shots. YOU CAN DO ANYTHING IN IT! Even make eli look like hes havin a baby, its excellent seen in the game, my point for this is, you can take screenshots, post them here and let others rate it, or something like that.

thats basically my idea, make ss's from garrys mod and post them here, and let others rate it. Admins, plz like my idea!!! oops, still typing

Actually looks like a decent site... it's way too slow though. Good compilation of a lot of really good looking wallpaper. Haven't seen any popups. May be a troll, but this is a decent link it seems.
